Downtown DC Architecture Bike Tour

Quick Details

Join us for an unforgettable experience where exploration meets history, architecture, and exercise!

Cycle through the Capital city, visiting stunning and storied landmarks like the White House, Kennedy Center, Watergate Hotel, Vietnam Wall and the Lincoln Memorial. Learn about lesser-known architectural gems like the Octagon House, AIA Headquarters, and The Reach. Our team of design professionals turned tour guides will share engaging stories about each landmark, offering a deeper understanding of Washington, D.C.’s tumultuous history and architectural landscape. Our tour will finish up at the National Building Museum to continue your design education.

This tour is offered in partnership with DC Cycling Concierge, the best bike folks in town! The relatively flat 5-mile journey is primarily on bike paths with a few less-busy streets, making it an easy and enjoyable experience suitable for all levels. While we have a core itinerary, we’re happy to customize the tour to match your interests.

What to Bring

We provide bikes, helmets, water bottles, and snacks! Our guides will review the route with you, ensure your bike and helmet fit correctly, and conduct a quick safety briefing before setting off.
